This dinner is hosted by the Winter Pantry - Baysville & Dorset and is open to EVERYONE (as long as you are from Baysville LOL). Call or drop into the library to register to attend. The food is totally scrumptious and the Gift Room is a very unique feature.
There are 2 parts to the Gift Room. First there is a wrapped age-appropriate gift to be taken home for every child registered for the dinner. But the second part is even more fun!! The children get to shop for mom and dad or another special adult. Volunteers in the Gift Room help the children choose and wrap the gifts. And those volunteers want to return every year to experience the joy and excitement in that room.
This year the Winter Pantry made the difficult decision to not accept donated items for the Gift Room. Unfortunately dealing with the large quantity of items from our incredibly generous community had become a very onerous chore. If you would still like to support the Gift Room, please consider making a financial donation. Cheques may be made payable to the Winter Pantry (write Gift Room on the memo line) and mailed to P.O. Box 71, Baysville ON P0B 1A0 or dropped off at the library. You will receive a receipt for tax purposes.
