You’re invited to participate in a community art project! All you need to do is send us a sentence or two about your favourite book and why the book is meaningful to you. Ask for your answer to be kept anonymous if you'd like. Artist Leslie Ashton will use as many book suggestions as she can to create watercolour/mixed media book portraits, and you’ll be able to view these original pieces of art when they’re exhibited at each of the Lake of Bays Library branches.

LESLIE ASHTON is a Toronto visual artist and book lover who spends as much time as she can in Lake of Bays. She is an artist educator who has a passion for working on creative projects with communities large and small.
